it's sunday! phew! (but a long weekend)

yesterday emrhubby passed his licensing! he has to do some written stuff at a later date for government exams (i'm not really sure haha) but he's probably not going to do them since he'll be in Paramedic school and he'll just end up doing their licensing anyway and by the time he'd get hired by bc ambulance and finish the licensing, he might as well just do the paramedic licensing and focus his attention on PCP and not EMR. ummm that means instead of basic level (Emergency Medical Responder), he'll be the next level Primary Care Paramedic. To be honest. I don't understand it all haha but I just know he'll be a paramedic by the end of this course! 

last night I did a 10 hour wedding. it was fun, i love being a wedding photographer. it comes with it's definite challenges. dealing with rowdy bridal parties, stressful time limits and nervous brides & grooms that have never really been in front of a camera before but you need to roll with that and over time you become normal to the way it is. i'm completely desensitized to it now, in my head "that's just the way it is". bride & grooms ask me how to cutt cakes and who should be in their family photos. guests ask me, where's the bride & groom are  & where should they go...  and I usually have some sort of answer.

happy turkey weekend to all my canadian people! 

now that work is done for the weekend, i get two turkey dinners!!
